Ontario Wine Agents

The agents listed below have presented wine at our monthly tastings and special events. To order a wine that you have enjoyed at a tasting, click on the agent’s logo below to go to their website.

Ontario Wine Agents bring wines from around the world into Ontario. Some of these wines are available at the LCBO but many of them are only available by the case, directly from the agent. Suppliers and manufacturers from around the world often seek out Ontario agents to introduce their products to the Ontario market. It’s a wise choice and we invite these agents to present their wines at our monthly tastings and special events.

Featured Chefs

The Burlington Wine club has been about food, almost as much as wine since its inception. For the first time this year, we will be featuring some local Chefs who will bring an exciting new element to the food pairings that go with the international and local wines. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our local talent, provide an enhanced experience for our food prep team and deliver outstanding wine and food pairings.

Education and Sommelier Services

Teresa’s Wine Academy provides Sommelier services for the Burlington Wine Club. Teresa herself curates the wines, selects the food pairings and provides brief educational talks at each meeting. She also offers wine courses, wine and food seminars and private events including private monthly wine clubs for large and small groups. Education is designed for both the novice wine drinker new to the world of wine and people who already have a passion for wine who want to expand their knowledge.

Other Wine Clubs

Since we are all wine and food lovers, occasionally we team up with another wine club for a joint event. We had a joint event last year where we learned about the Opimian Club and some of their members came to our club. They brought the wine and we made the food! We look forward to more joint events in the future.
